    Description: On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, all fifth grade students will have the opportunity to tour the Huntingdon Area Middle School. Southside and Stone Valley Elementaries will visit in the morning and Standing Stone in the afternoon. Students will view a brief slide show, look at a sample schedule, practice using a combination lock, and learn classroom locations. In August, parents/guardians will be invited to attend an informational session in the Large Group Room, while students walk through the building with their schedule. We look forward to working together. Please come!
  • MS Financial Aid Night

    Description: Did you know that you can apply for grants and scholarships regarding post secondary studies beginning in the seventh grade of your child’s educational journey? Do you want to help your son or daughter avoid accumulating a mountain of debt to obtain a degree from a college or trade school? Come and learn more during the first Financial Aid Night at Huntingdon Area Middle School on May 19, 2014 at 6:30 PM in the Large Group Room. Mr. Dan Wray from Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will provide valuable information for all. Our eighth grade students were so inspired by this individual that they requested that Mr. Wray return for an evening discussion with adults. Please read about Mr. Wray’s biographical information below and come. Light refreshments will be provided.

  • Middle School Book Fair

    Description: The Huntingdon Area Middle School is having a Book Fair, May 26 through May 29! This Book Fair will be a BOGO (buy one get one free)! This is a great opportunity for students to begin a summer full of reading and fun. Students will have the opportunity to attend the Book Fair during Enrichment classes. An evening parent event will be held on Tuesday, May 26 from 5 to 7pm, follow signs to the library! Please stop in and take a look!

    All proceeds generated from the Book Fair will benefit our very own middle school library. We will have teacher wish lists available for enhancement of our classroom libraries.
